Click the link above to explore a real time ionospheric map, and you will see it's peaks and lulls. The image I include above is the ionosphere at the time of this writing, 4 pm PST. We had a record solar flare, and it indeed hit around this time and peaked out the ionosphere.
A major scientist contacted me from Romania to alert me on this, because in our field of geo-sciences, there is research on the relationship between the ionosphere and the earth, and geological events such as earthquakes and volcanic eruptions.
This scientist basically told me it's a good idea to leave any western US fault zones or have a strategy plan for survival.
Here is a part of the series of conversations. We had a bit of a language gap on this one, but he's telling me the ionosphere is loaded up, causing for strange sounds on some measurement equipment or something. Indeed that's what I think the weird noises heard around the world are, on Jan 11 and 12 has something to do with the ionosphere. My neighbor heard it. Here's the scientist and I chatting - Judge for yourself:
2:48am
I know, indeed. Thanks for the warn.
2:49am
Scientist: … or telepathy
2:50am

2:55am
No. Safe place.
Sicherheit.
2:57am
Scientist: Maybe under 1.2 m higher you ca hear also some noises . This could be the magnetotelluric field, but in the audio range.
2:58am
Yes. It's been that way.
2:59am
Scientist: By, by, I must go to work, Carolina !
3:02am
Valentine. On my wall I can use Google translate.
